Toner Cartridge Recycling Program

GA Tech Rolls Out
New Toner Cartridge and Cell Phone Donation Program

GA Tech is providing a new Toner Cartridge and Cell Phone Donation Program in cooperation with the Bobby Dodd Institute.  The new program will provide a simple three-step process for faculty, staff and students to dispose of their work and personal toner cartridges, as well as personal cell phones.

The program is being rolled out in phases throughout GA Tech’s campus.  Phase I includes 12 buildings on the East Side of campus.  The program will spread throughout campus during the course of this year.

Three Step Recycling Process

Recycling your toner cartridges and personal cell phones is an easy three-step process:

1. Remove the postage-page plastic mail envelope from the dispensing unit.
2. Place your used toner cartridge or personal cell phone in the envelope.
3. Seal the envelope and place it in the outgoing US Mail.

Dispensing Units

Dispensing units will be placed in easily accessible locations such as break rooms, mail and copy rooms as well as vending rooms.  Our large framed poster will help you identify the locations in your building. Click here to view a copy of the poster.
