Game Day Recycling Volunteer Information

Georgia Tech's Game Day Recycling program makes sure that everyone who attends home football games has the opportunity to recycle. Volunteering for Game Day Recycling is a great way to support the team and give back to Tech.

  • The time commitment is about an hour and all volunteers are finished in time for kickoff

  • The Game Day Recycling program does not provide tickets to the game

Blue Bag Brigade

The Blue Bag Brigade gives out blue recycling bags to fans who are tailgating on campus.

What to expect: Groups of volunteers hand out blue bags to tailgaters on campus. Remind fans that the blue bags are for bottles, cans, and plastic cups. After filling the bags they can leave them on the ground and the bags will be picked up by GT Facilities employees.

Green Greeters

Greet fans outside the Stadium and encourage them to recycle their bottles and cans.
