Game Day Recycling Volunteer Information

Georgia Tech's Game Day Recycling program makes sure that everyone who attends home football games has the opportunity to recycle. Volunteering for Game Day Recycling is a great way to get involved on campus and give back to Tech.

How does it work? Choose any of the home football games this fall. Help out for an hour with the Blue Bag Brigade or as a Green Greeter. All volunteer shifts finish in time for kickoff. You can sign up individually or as a group.

Volunteer Options

Blue Bag Brigade

The Blue Bag Brigade gives out blue recycling bags to tailgaters. The bags are for recycling bottles, cans, and plastic cups. Tailgaters fill up their bags, then leave them on ground and GT Facilities employees pick them up.

Green Greeters

Groups of volunteers at each of the stadium's ten gates encourage people to recycle their bottles & cans as they go into the stadium. Your participation raises awareness of recycling and makes the program much more visible.
